2. Trust the Journey

Trust the journey even when you don’t understand it.

There must be a reason for this journey when you started. Trust that things will get better as time passes, not just because time heals but because you grow. Embrace this time with an open mind & heart and be ready to discover what feels right to you.

3. Start

Start doing the things you’ve always wanted to try once. Maybe – a blog, an artwork, or a song. And order your faculty of overthinking to shut up. Channel your imagination to go creative. No matter what the situation is, but

Life feels more overwhelming when we refuse to accept. Acceptance is very essential. We cannot always blame fate and ourselves for the things that are not in our control.

When you’ve no idea about what to do with your life, asking yourself the right questions can help you analyse your goals & your strengths.

I personally believe that nature is the biggest teacher. It gives us the biggest motivation to keep going and keep grinding.

7. Create a Routine

Create a routine that you love. The one that involves enough sleep, self-care, naps, and me-time. Work on developing your mental strength. Set aside your evening to simply sit with your thoughts and meditate, allowing yourself to feel those emotions so they no longer control you.

8. Say Out Loud

When you are unsure of everything and you feel like you are spiraling, say out loud: “I am feeling lost, I don’t know how to figure it out, I am having a panic-like situation, my irrational thoughts are going crazy.”

Doing this is the first step toward bringing yourself back to reality.

9. Try Journaling

You might find it annoying to learn deep breathing exercises when you lose your motivation. You may have tried it before, but it hadn’t worked. Breathing exercises reduce your stress & calm your mind. Believe me, this is actually one of the most effective solutions when you are at a crossroads in life.

11. Feel Okay With Yourself

Spend time with yourself, especially when you feel like you don’t want to. Be okay with your company and try solo dates. Remember,  if you don’t want to be with you, how can you expect anyone else to either?

Allow yourself to explore the spiritual sides of you. When everything feels off,  recite mantras and prayers. These will help you in staying calm & composed even when you don’t know what to do with your life. Anything that focuses your mind on something positive and hopeful is better for well-being.

13. Just Laugh

You might find it ‘weird’. Yes, I am saying to you, laugh as much as you can. “Laugh at your situation. Laugh at your confusion. Laugh at your life.” 

You will feel you are in the moment. Just consider that you are being chosen for the life lesson and starting your journey of growth.

14 . Connect With People

Whenever the situation arises when you have no idea what you are doing, connect with people. Connect with them and ask for help when you actually need it. They will surely support you & assist you in finding solutions. There’s no shame in it. If you don’t learn to do this, you will end up having a million other issues.

15. Be Mindful & Wait

When you are unsure about everything & become directionless, just remember to be present in the moment. Be mindful and wait for the answers you want to know. Everything will become crystal clear to you with time. The universe will provide you with answers.

Actually, nobody knows “what they’re doing with their lives.” Some people might have ideas of what they are working on and doing in life, but ultimately, none of us can accurately summarise what our existence is all about. Not yet!
