Yes, you heard me right. Start doing the scariest things in your 20s, which you fear most. As Eleanor Roosevelt says-
“Do one thing every day that scares you,”
It could be – jumping out of a plane (of course, with a professional), talking to random people, going for wild adventures, climbing the mountains, and so on. Your earlier fears may have become trauma to you. But now is the time to conquer them one by one for your better self in the future.
Dis: Don’t jump into the ocean, if you don’t know swimming. First, learn, then dare.
Doing scary and bold things in your 20s will help you boost your self-confidence and willpower.
2. Learn some crucial skills
Your 20s are the right time to start learning some crucial skills related to your future job and a better life. Skills like – Time management skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills are enough to put you ahead of the crowd and ace your work life.
3. Build quality relationships and start social networking
The secret behind the people who live way better in their 50s is that – they start building quality relationships and networking in their 20s. Meaningful relationships matter most in the period when you feel isolated inside. There’s a saying-
“Relationships are the emergency fund for your life”
They can either drain you or make you. So, make good friends rather than making too many.

The majority of people lament about their stressful jobs, burnouts, and daily same type of work. It’s obvious, isn’t it?

If you want to tell me that, ‘life is so short. I want to live in luxury now by spending my money. For savings, I’ll think later ‘
I got you. Most of the youth in their 20s think like that. But life is unpredictable, and we’ve to see both sides of a coin. So, saving a little amount of money can be a good start. You’ll be so proud of yourself later in life, trust me.

Starting journaling your thoughts can be a life-changing habit that you should start doing in your 20s. Journaling is just a process of writing our thoughts on a piece of paper. That’s it.

11. Start learning to deal with stress
We can’t escape the fact that stress is inevitable. From morning hustle-bustle to major life challenges. It haunts you at each step of life. If you start to manage your stress early in your 20 then you will be holding less mental baggage in your 50s. You will prepare yourself for taking risks without compromising your mental health.
Here are some ways to deal with stress-
1. Accepting the situations in life that we can’t control.

It takes a huge effort sometimes to say just a two simple letter word “NO”. Why?
Because you are rejecting somebody. And if you are not good at it, then you are going to suffer with guilt, anxiousness, and self doubtedness.
Knowing when to say no is extremely important for your mental well-being and relationships.

Believe me! This is the biggest regret I have from my early 20s. When I knew I was into writing so much, still I kept it hanging for so long to start my blog. I was afraid of failure and incompetency.
So, do it now. Just try and fail. Don’t wait for the right time.
16. Be nice to yourself
Now, this is something you must start doing in your 20s. Have compassion and be nice to yourself. There are enough people outside who are going to make you feel crap.
